Cocktails and Dachshunds Pop-Pup Charity Event

I know, vodka and pooches aren’t two things that you’d ordinarily see together, right? But tomorrow night, Saturday August the 4th from 4pm – 8pm, they will be! Capetonians, you’re invited to an all out fundraising Pop-Pup evening of divine cocktails at Orphanage with Tito’s Handmade Vodka in aid of Cape Dachshund Rescue and you know I am anywhere there are cute pups and some good drinks.

A PERFECT PAIRING

Dog lovers, bring yourselves and your friends over for some expertly crafted vodka that’s so smooth you can drink it neat (though I do prefer my vodka hidden under copious amounts of fruit) and do your bit for this incredible rescue organisation that’s close to my heart. My mom, herself hopelessly Daxie-obsessed, adopted two little guys from them a couple years ago, and all of our dogs are rescues! The work they do is nothing short of incredible, re-homing up to 30 rescued pups a month. Much of their funding is reliant on public generosity to cover ever-increasing vet bills, sterilisations and health-checks, so it’s a no-brainer to partner up with Tito’s, the ‘Vodka for Dog People‘. Both of these truly puppy-loving brand have a clear mission: to unite friends, family and fans to better the lives of animals. Tito’s alone has partnered with over 6000 charities, many of them animal welfare.

Cocktails will be R65 each with 100% of the proceeds going to Cape Dachshund Rescue. Best of all, Tito’s has committed to matching whatever funds are raised, cocktail for cocktail, at the Pop-Up Event so please come have a drink for a good cause (like you needed a reason!). If drinking delicious cocktails in aid of helping Dachshunds isn’t enough of a reason to pop past, come spend time with some sociable pups and see the pin-up girls from Dusty Rebels and the Bombshells who will be selling kisses in a kissing booth to help raise additional funds while also raffling a hamper of dog goodies sponsored by Tito’s!

Cape Dachshund Rescue currently have about 100 dogs in their care that are just waiting for their forever homes. You can find their pics and a small bio on each one by clicking here. For more info on Tito’s visit titosvodka.com.

Sounds like too much fun! See you all there!
