So I know it’s been a long, looong, LONG time since I last posted, and I promise I have a valid excuse reason. We have some exciting news to share! I’m pregnant! I’m having a little baby girl :) I know that doesn’t sound like a valid reason for being absent for a hundred years, and pregnant women are still able to do things like be a normal human, but hear me out…
I will go into more detail in another post, but just for now I’ll say that although I am EXTREMELY excited about becoming a mom for the first time, and Tim and I are over the flipping moon, we’ve had some very hard months to go through. I’ve been battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is a very serious pregnancy disease, and I’ve literally been immobile. Like, bedridden. Unable to eat or drink or move or even shower unassisted. Writing has always been my salvation and I couldn’t bring myself to even look at a keyboard, never mind have the energy to write anything.
So the full story will be on it’s way soon – I’m still fighting this horrible disease, but I’m getting better day by day. I was even able to go out for lunch for the first time in a bajillion years – more on that in the next post too. So I’m starting to re-join the world again, and I thought it was only right to explain my absence and say my hello’s to whoever is out there reading my mangled thoughts :)
There is a literal human being growing in my belly! A whole life! Whaaat?? It’s insaaaaaane to comprehend. And such a joy, even if she’s already put me through quite the ringer ;) What a miracle. And look at that perfect, teeny tiny foot! We’re so in love already with this little munchkin and I’m only 4 months along, still so long to go before we meet our little darling girl. Hurry up December!!
And other exciting news, I’m also about to launch my brand new baby decor business!!! I can’t give too much away just yet, but when I do you’ll be the first to know! Woop woop!
It’s lovely to be back. And I’m more than certain there’ll be a little ‘baby’ menu popping up on this site sometime soon. I’ll keep you posted on the progress of the little Noonklet.
