We have been over-the-moon excited about H&M finally launching in South Africa (how has it taken this long??).  We were lucky enough to attend their VIP launch last Thursday evening ahead of their public launch and we’ve got to admit – their H&M Home Concept section is all we have thought about since. On-trend, minimalist and affordable? Yes please!

We thought we’d share our top 5 home decor picks that caught our eye. Here’s our metallic edit:

1. Metal Watering Can, R229

Who would let their plants die when they’ve got one of these puppies to dispense life-saving water? Ok, we would probably kill our plants anyway, but still. MUST HAVE!

2. Metal Photo Frame, R149

Hanging frames for prints, photos and illustrations are huge right now. We love this one in gold.

3. Scented Candle, R129

You can never have too many of these bad boys in the home, especially when packaged in such simple, stunning white and gold ceramic (Perfect for re-use later!).

4. Glass Jar with Lid, R199

Keepsakes, dried foods or plain ol’ nothing will love this elegant jar. How gorgeous is that blonde wood lid?!

5. Metal Hanger, R129

A bit on the masculine side, this industrial-esque hanger is a great entrance-way catch-all.

6. Round MirrorR229

Simple and decorative, we just love this little sunburst mirror.

7. Tealight Holder, R49

49 bucks? Really? We can’t get enough.

8. Ceramic Vessel, R229

Black and gold are longtime besties. Perfect for plants, utensils or just as a decorative piece. I want five.

9. Large Metal Tray, R399

Breakfast in bed, anyone?

10. Gold Dome with Tray, R229

Cloches are all the rage right now for displaying your precious trinkets. Dani may have a mild case of cloche-obsession…

Their online shop isn’t up and running yet, but it should be soon. In the mean time keep up to date with all of their news by following them on Twitter and liking them on Facebook.
